Day 1: Pick up in Nairobi, Transfer to Samburu Game Reserve

On this 1st day of your amazing 13 Days Kenya and Tanzania safari, you shall be picked up in Nairobi by our Kenya safari guide. You shall have a short meet and greet, and be briefed about your extensive 13 Days Kenya and Tanzania safari. After, you shall proceed for a transfer to Samburu Game Reserve, driving northwards through the northern frontier district.

Once in Samburu Game Reserve, enjoy an afternoon game drive, an activity that is famous amongst many tourists who have visited for Samburu Game Reserve gives one of the most amazing and extensive game drives.

After, head to the lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Explore Samburu Game Reserve

On this 2nd day of your 13 Days Kenya and Tanzania Safari, you shall have a full day to explore Samburu Game Reserve. Samburu Game Reserve is a great place for photographic safaris, given the amazingly beautiful scenery and the high concentration of wildlife. You shall enjoy game viewing through game drives, a picnic lunch, birding and sightseeing. Wildlife like lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, gerenuk, zebras, among so many others and birds species that are over 400 species recording like marabou stork, vulturine guineafowl, palm nut vulture, kingfishers sunbird among so many others can be seen.

After, you shall return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Lake Naivasha National Park

Today, you shall enjoy breakfast at the lodge, check out and enjoy yet another game drive in Samburu National Park as you leave for a transfer to Lake Naivasha National Park. You shall pass via the famous Thomson’s Falls and make a stop for a scenic view and photographs. You shall arrive in Lake Naivasha National Park just in time for lunch.

After a sumptuous lunch, head out for a boat safari on the beautiful Lake Naivasha spotting a variety of wildlife including water birds. Return to the lodge in the evening, enjoying a game drive and watching the amazing sunset. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 4:Transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast at the lodge, you shall embark on a transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve, passing via the beautiful Longonot earth satellite station. You shall also pass via large acres of wheat and barley. Once in Maasai Mara National Reserve, you shall enjoy a sumptuous lunch at the lodge before embarking on an evening game drive. You shall return to the lodge after for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5&6: Maasai Mara National Reserve Experience

On Days 5 and 6 while on your 13 Days Kenya and Tanzania Safari, you shall full day Maasai Mara National Reserve experiences, to encounter a variety of wildlife including the African big five and also the great wildebeest migration, should your safari be booked during the time when it does take place. You shall have picnic lunches, as well as enough time to enjoy the scenic beauty of Maasai Mara National Reserve. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 7: Transfer to Tanzania

Today, you shall have breakfast at the lodge and then proceed for a transfer to Tanzania. You shall stop at Lake Victoria, the largest fresh water lake in Africa, check in at the lodge, have lunch and spend the rest of the day at leisure, doing optional activities like canoeing, fishing, nature walks and birding among others. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 8&9: Serengeti National Park wildlife safari experience

On day 8 of your 13 Days Kenya and Tanzania Safari, you shall depart Lake Victoria for Serengeti National Park. For two days, you shall enjoy Serengeti National Park wildlife safari experiences. Serengeti National Park is the most visited Tanzania national park that gives travellers amazing game viewing experiences. Game drives in Serengeti National Park are the most amazing activity, rewarding travellers with typical Africa safaris.

Serengeti National Park is famous for hosting the big five in large numbers, as well as the great annual wildebeest migration. Some of the wildlife in Serengeti National Park that travellers can spot include elephants, wild dogs, eland, wildebeests, crocodiles, leopards, gazelles and so much more. Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater exploration

On this 10th day of your 13 Days Kenya and Tanzania Safari, you shall enjoy breakfast at the lodge and then proceed for a transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You shall get to enjoy exploring the Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro crater is located between Serengeti National Park and the beautiful Lake Manyara National Park. Ngorongoro crater has an abundance of wildlife and birdlife, as well as the historical archaeological Olduvai Gorge. Spend time exploring the Ngorongoro crater, game viewing and enjoying the amazing scenic beauty that the place has to offer. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 11&12: Amboseli National Park safari activities

After leaving Ngorongoro crater, you shall head to Amboseli National Park, enjoying yet another game drive in the Ngorongoro crater floor. Amboseli National Park is famous for its scenic beauty given that it has Mount Kilimanjaro as its backdrop. Amboseli National Park also has the highest concentration of elephants that can be seen moving together in large groups. Once at Amboseli National Park, enjoy game drives as well as scenic views also perfect for photography. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 13: Transfer to Nairobi, Departure

On this last day of your 13 Days Kenya and Tanzania safari, you shall wake up to a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge and then proceed to check out for a transfer to Nairobi. You shall be dropped off at your hotel of stay or at the airport from where you shall proceed for departure on an outbound flight.
